Allium cepa is a homeopathic remedy often used to treat head colds, hay fever, coughs, headaches and hoarseness. Other indications for its use include a runny nose with frequent sneezing, profuse discharge from the nose often irritating to the nose and lip, tearing of the eyes of a bland nature, and colds that extend to the chest with coughing. Worse in a warm room and in the evening - better in open air.
