Bite Not Collars are wonderful collars to use instead of the Elizabethan collars. They prevent the neck from turning side to side when used properly. They are less stressful for the dog and less damaging to the surroundings than the large cones. It provides unimpeded peripheral vision and allows your pet to eat, drink, sleep, go to the bathroom and play comfortably. It protects the back, rump, base of tail, flanks, chest, abdomen, genitals and even front feet in small breeds.
For many dogs, the Bite Not Collar DOES NOT protect front legs, feet, or ears. This depends on the flexibility and size of the dog.
For example, an English Bulldog would be more protected than a Whippet, due to the flexibility of the Whippet. Some dogs have been able to reach front feet while crated by putting feet up on crate sides. They are so clever!
Suggested Usage: For fitting purposes, measure the length of the neck from the top of the shoulder to just under the jaw as pictured on our Senior Rescue Great Dane. This length is what you use to determine the size of the collar needed. The collar circles the neck, is snug with hook-and-loop strips, and is anchored with the strap around the belly.
- Machine washable.
- Measure dog from top of shoulder to bottom of ear for best fit.
