Dogzymes Gain and Shine is a powdered natural fat supplement for the canine or feline body.  Formulated to assist in weight maintenance, dry skin and coat.  Fat is the normal energy source for canines, never carbohydrates.  Sometimes poor digestion or plant protein-based dog food diets (96% of all dry dog foods) which lack proper natural, clean, specific fats make it difficult for dogs to maintain weight and muscle.

Dogzymes Gain and Shine contains no vegetable oil, just natural meat-based fats mother nature intended like chicken, pork and beef.  We added natural Parmesan cheese which meets the biological fat needs of carnivores like dogs and cats.  High calorie, low volume, animals love it.

Great for the nursing bitch, active and athletic performance dogs, older dogs not fed meat protein-based food, dogs in cold environments, fast growing puppy breeds, hunting dog demands, show dogs for conditioning or rehabilitating a dog that has lost weight or needs improved coat/skin - all need fat for performing or maintenance.

    The Only Thing That Worked

Posted by Marissa on Aug 18th 2017

I had a teenage giant breed puppy who I could NOT put weight on. I tried other supplements, I had upped her food amount as high as her body could handle.

Nothing helped. Some things gave her diarrhea.

This product absolutely worked, and fast. I was able to get her tummy stable (having to switch to denser and denser foods had made for a rough stomach), and she started gaining weight and filling out a week later. I continued this product through the next year.

I can't say enough about how happy getting my skinny puppy to a healthy weight made me.

    Definite difference

This product was recommended to me to help put weight on a very active young dog and it not only did that but also greatly improved his coat's thickness and sheen. The dogs love it and will even eat it out of my hand before I can get it into the bowls - I also gave it to his sister and she gained more weight than I expected and her coat is much more luxurious!

    Super supplement

Posted by Sunshine on Apr 2nd 2017

This stuff is wonderful. We have 4 breeds all with different needs. We put them on this in January if 2017 and wow you can really see the difference. We have a frenchie and a bulldog who are very lean. Wicked high metabolism and have had a tough time with weight ... getting it to stay on. Well this has certainly helped in that department. The girls look great and we have noticed their Coates have much improved! They gobble it up and do the happy dance when the see me crack open the bucket to sprinkle it on their food! No picky eaters here.
On a side note, we have a neighbor with a working border collie, who works about 100 head of cattle- super active dog with a very important job in the farm. I intoduced him to this and he bought it. I have seen a difference in his weight! I highly recommend this!!!!

    Wonderful Product

Posted by BJ on Feb 10th 2017

I have a dog that is recovering from a mysterious stomach upset and he was unable and unwilling to eat for nearly 2 weeks. My Vet recommended this product after he started eating again. So far so good. I can see a good improvement since we started using the Enzyme and will continue to use it so support his weight (18 lbs).

    New to this product.

I have been using the Gain & Shine for just over a week and I haven't seen any change in my Labrador's weight. I don't find that surprising and I expect it may take another week or two to see a positive difference. I have every confidence that I will see a positive difference.

I do believe that Gain & Shine is an excellent value, especially given the high quality of this product.

    Good product

Posted by Cocker Spaniel mom on Oct 7th 2016

I have only been using this for two weeks on a Cocker puppy who has such high energy that I couldn't keep weight on her. She loves the taste and it has helped give her a bigger appetite. I already can see some additional weight on her, so I have high hopes that it will get her in show condition.
