    50.; billion

Posted by Lisa on Jun 6th 2019

I just received the product and have only been feeding it for 2 days. So I can’t really comment on the efficacy. That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. However, it should be a good probiotic, with 50.4 billion PFU’s per ounce and the correct bacteria for horses. I’m trying it on my endurance horse, due to the rigorous work schedule he has.

DFM works to firm loose manure

Posted by Rogue Pony on Dec 10th 2016

An old pony came into my care a while back. His manure was consistently wet, never formed. I tried Probios with no effect. With DFM, his manure is now almost always formed. I'm giving the pony 2 ounces and my big horses just one once each. All now have clean bottoms all the time.

    Stopped mild gas colic

Posted by Lori on May 17th 2016

I was looking for something to prevent my senior horse from having mild gas colic. She started having mild gas colic 1-3 times a year. I was looking for a product that worked and found this product through an internet search. I called to ask questions about it. The man who took my call was informative and explained why gas colic is more common in the older horse and how this product reduces or eliminates that risk. My mare is doing well on it.

    Best Probiotic

Posted by HorseGirl on Apr 1st 2016

This may not be cheap like Probios but - it works. I use it after antibiotic treatments and if I suspect a horse has ulcers. Works every time. Love it, glad it's made by a small company.

    Good prevention

I feed this occasionally to my horses and always for several days before and after a trip or stressful event. Just keeps things moving as they should.
