At some point in their lives, many fish will suffer from the unfortunate effects of flatworms in their aquatic environment. Parasites and worms can be very hard to pinpoint, but you can help protect your swimming friends from pesky parasites with Fish Tapes from Thomas Labs. This safe and effective worming agent is designed to remove flatworms and parasites from within aquatic environments and from within the fish themselves. However, Fish Tapes does more than just remove these parasites; it also works to prevent parasites from infesting your fish again. Of course, Fish Tapes is designed to be completely harmless to fish, so you can be assured that you’re using a safe and reliable method to combat infestations. 

Directions for Fish Tapes - Tapeworm Control:  

  • Each Capsule 34mg

  • Empty 1 capsule into aquarium for every 4 gallons of water.

  • Begin treatment with new water and do not stop filtration.

  • Remove activated carbon and UV sterilization to ensure effectiveness.

  • Distribute the contents around the edges of the environment or directly into the filter box for the best overall distribution.

  • Do not apply more than once every 3 to 5 days.

  • One treatment of 5 to 7 days is generally sufficient.

  • Fish Tapes may be used as a preventative when used only at the standard treatment.

  • Do not use with any other drugs.

  • Use in saltwater systems where flatworms of the Polycladida order are being cultivated is not recommended as some contradictions will apply.

Warnings: For aquarium and ornamental fish only. Not for human use. This product should not be given to fish intended for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately.

    We use this as an economical alternative to the expensive tablets for cats. Works great for the foster cattery.
