Aconite napellus is a homeopathic remedy often used for a high fevers of sudden onset with dry skin. Indications for its use include heat with thirst, anxious impatience, cannot be comforted, tossing about with discomfort. Anxiety and fear are hallmarks of Aconite. The remedy is made from a purple flowering plant also known by the common name Monkshood (because of the shape of the flower).
