Bryonia alba is a homeopathic remedy commonly used for conditions that are worse from motion of any kind. Muscle and joint pains are often stitching in nature and improved by rest. There is generally dryness of mucous membranes and the patient tends to be very thirsty for large quantities of fluid at long intervals. The remedy is made from a native European perennial climbing vine with red berries, white flowers, and a thick, white primary root.
