I have been feeding my 11 year old Belgian Malinois the Norwegian Kelp for more than 10 years. I don't vaccinate for anything. I walk him off-leash, he sniffs around a lot where MANY dogs do their business. He has never been sick so I can't say the Kelp "healed" him from anything. I am confident it is a strong contributor to his never getting sick. When I first began giving him the Kelp I noticed it undigested in his stools. Since then I run it through the Blender to get it closer to a powder form, since there has been no visible sign of it in his stools. I also soak his dose in filtered water overnight to soften it pursuant to even better digestibility. His stools have no green tint to the color which is indicative of very good digestion and absorption.
Run it in the Blender for multiple very short durations so that it doesn't heat up. I buy it in the 12 lb. buckets, it has a long shelf life and the bucket is heavy duty that goes onto good utility. The quality and durability of the Bucket is on the level of those orange Home Depot buckets, great for various duties and around the garden.
