In my experience, boys need less.

May need 1 cap fro training; 3-4 for thunder storms.

Once the dog learns that they are ok in a situation, they start to relax on their own and you don't need it as much.

    Great product

Calm Caps work great for our large Golden Doodle and Golden Retriever. They help keep them relaxed during storms and fireworks without knocking them out. Yes, you do have to give the larger dogs 3 or 4 to work the best but ours just eat them on their food or with peanut butter on a cracker.

    great product

I have used Calm Caps for years. As my dogs have aged, they tend to develop more anxiety to car travel and storms. I give them in canned food "meatballs" about 45 minutes before the "big event". They chill out and it's long lasting. It gets us through the storm and they actually fall asleep...and so do I. I personally recommend giving these a try!

These capsules work better than the meds I have used from the Vet. My Danes remained calm all through the 4th of July noise.
